- 400 grams curd
- 1 tsp rock salt
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp roasted cumin powder
- 1 tbsp lemon juice

- First wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes.
- Marinate mutton in described ingredients.Leave for 15 minutes.
- Heat ghee in a pressure cooker,fry sliced onion til light brown.Add mutton and 2 bay leaves.Add 1 cup water.

- Dissolve food colour in 2-3tbsp milk,add kewra water andpour over the biryani.
- Cover and cook on lowest flame for 10 minutes.After 10 monutes mutton biryani is ready to be served.
- For raita blend curd in a bowl,add other ingredients and adjust consistency of your choice.
